Elizabeth Yakaboski

MD, ABPD, ABAI

Dr. Elizabeth Yakaboski joined our practice in 2021 from Massachusetts General Hospital where she completed her allergy and immunology fellowship. She previously studied in Boston, and graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University's Honors Program with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. She is a New York native and completed her medical degree at Stony Brook University with an Award for Excellence in Research. She then completed her pediatric residency at Weill-Cornell in 2019 and received the Senior Resident Award for Clinical Excellence.

Dr. Yakaboski has contributed several first-author publications within the field of allergy and immunology, and has presented at national conferences. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy and Immunology, and the Massachusetts Medical Society.

While at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Yakaboski's primary research work focused on food allergy. She was also a Co-Investigator in an ongoing NIH-sponsored clinical trial looking at allergic reactions to the Covid-19 vaccine.

Dr. Yakaboski trained in both adult and pediatric allergy, and enjoys treating patients of all ages. She is particularly passionate about food allergy and anaphylaxis.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Yakaboski enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with her family in Long Island.
